Surprisingly, shock was not the first of my reactions (or perhaps even a reaction at all, either for its inadequacy or inappropriateness, but I'll let you be the judge). Here is the concise list of my reactions:
1.) Ooo! An email from [Chick]!
2.) What's on TV today?
3.) Silly me, I don't watch TV.
4.) Sh.... Shiny... thing.... over there....
5.) I was reading something. What was it? Ah! An email from [Chick]!
6.) Who's [Dude]?
7.) Oh yeah! That guy!
8.) GYAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!
Aside from my cynical impression of the criminal institution that is marriage, I would love to attend any event that involves alcohol, so please send me an invite. Congrats, by the way.
